I want to express my sincere appreciation to Dr Prantik Das for everything he has done for me. I was fortunate enough to be placed under his care in January 2017 after arriving at Royal Derby hospital as an emergency admission.
Dr Das is a truly gifted oncologist who is passionately committed to his profession. He is a very genuine, sincere and compassionate man who can't do enough to help you.
I am extremely satisfied with the bespoke treatment which Dr Das has tailored specifically for me, and I'm very grateful for the vastly improved quality of life which I now enjoy as a result.
At follow-up appointments Dr Das has been eager to talk through any issues I may have had. These consultations have been conducted in respectful and friendly manner whilst maintaining professional integrity. He has always taken extra time to explained things methodically and throughly, and has made adjustments to my treatment, if needed, in a timely manner. I've found his support and encouragement invaluable and greatly reassuring.
He is also supported by a dedicated team of talented individuals, each worthy of praise in their respective roles.
I hold Dr Prantik Das in the highest esteem and owe my life to the excellent care I've received from him.
I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a outstanding oncologist.

Dr Das is currently treating my mother in law for stage 4 oesophogeal cancer. There are only good things to say about him. He has a very pragmatic yet caring approach. He is easy to talk to and listens (not something all doctors are great at) He takes time to explain everything and nothing seems to much trouble for him.
Despite the prognosis with this terrible disease he is manages to focus on the positives - without his help and care I don't think there would have been any.

Doctor Das has been treating me for Prostate Cancer for four years.
My diagnosis was very bad but due to Dr Das I am still here and looking at recovery.
I have the up most regard for his professionalism, the way he deals with me as a patient, and his explanation of medical terms putting them into lay mans language.

Dr Das has been my consultant since I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has overseen my treatment and I have complete faith in him.
He listens, engages with me as an equal and also has a sense of humour - very important in this field of work.
I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr Das has treated me with great understanding. He has always discussed options for treating my prostate cancer, never rushing to an aggressive options.

Dr Das is Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Royal Derby Hospital and Honorary Assistant Professor University of Nottingham, School of Medicine.
Dr Das has been actively involved in various national and international clinical trials. He is a first author of a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and also worked as reviewer in international journal. He has also contributed as author of Pocket Guide to Human Tumors and Cancer by CRC press USA.
